Notepad Qwerty Keyboard

The "Notepad Qwerty Keyboard" was developed to emulate an on screen keyboard but with the addition of layers, which in all selection modes reduces the number of selections required when an upper case letter is required. However, the QWERTY layout does not optimise performance when using this "SubSet" in scanning mode, as the keys should be arranged in frequency of use. You can achieve this by exporting each of the keys and then import them into a new SubSet in the style of frequency of use.

On selecting 'Open Note' the USE application will open notepad and place it in a particular place on the screen as determined within USE. In addition, two keys have been configured to generate an "Opening to a letter" and "Closing to a letter". One in a formal way and the other in a informal way.

Please Note. You may have to change the path of the 'Open Notepad' key depending on the Operating System (OS) you are using.

Download the SubSet of the

Save this into the 'Backup' directory within the USE directory on your computer,

then use the 'Restore' function within "USE" and link it into your subsets.

Qwerty Keyboard

The "Qwerty Keyboard" like the above "Notepad Qwerty Keyboard" was developed to emulate an on screen keyboard but with the addition of layers, which in direct selection reduces the number of selections required when an upper case letter is required. However, the QWERTY layout does not optimise performance when using this "SubSet" in scanning mode as the keys should be arranged in frequency of use. On selecting 'Open Word' the USE application will open Microsoft Word and place it in a particular place on the screen as determined within USE. In addition, the QWERTY keyboard also includes a call to a SubSet configured as a "Computer Mouse Control". However, it is important to note that the mouse opperations do not work, when in 'Direct Selection Mode'.

Please Note. You will need to change the path of the 'Open Word' key depending on the Operating System (OS) you are using and the particular location of the application within that OS.
